trouble with my teeth most all my life and I was to the point
where the enamel was wearing off them due to the misalignment
of my jaws. My dentist convinced me that the best thing to
do was to see an orthodontist and to have surgery to correct
the misalignment of my jaws.
I could not have been happier with Dr. Mastorakos and his
entire staff. They all made me feel very welcomed and went
completely out of their way explaining everything even before
I decided to begin the process. I gathered as much information
as possible and talked with several surgeons that Dr. Mastorakos
recommended before I began my orthodontic treatment.
Every visit with Dr. Mastorakos and his staff was fun and
informative. I always looked forward to going because I knew
they would take complete care of me and would answer any questions
I had.
Naturally, as the time came to have the surgery, I was anxious
about the procedure and having my mouth wired shut for such
a long period of time. Dr. Mastorakos and his staff were completely
supportive and encouraging to me during this time.
Reflecting back, it seems impossible that it has been over
2 ½ years since I first had braces on, to having surgery
to now having the braces off and just wearing a retainer. It
is a difficult decision for anyone to make, but in the end,
it is completely worth it.”
